by | Apr 10, 2026 | Events

The POWER project was featured at the V Culture and Open Knowledge Conference (OfiLibre) at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, where María del Carmen Gertrudis presented CONECTA, an associated initiative focused on the development of open educational resources (OER).

As part of POWER’s broader efforts to address misinformation around sustainability and renewable energy, CONECTA contributes by designing educational materials that promote critical thinking and responsible communication.

The presentation emphasized how OER can play a key role in enhancing media and information literacy, equipping citizens with the skills needed to identify and respond to misleading narratives in complex socio-environmental contexts.

This activity highlights POWER’s commitment to integrating research, education and communication strategies, using open and accessible resources to foster informed public engagement and support the transition towards a more sustainable and resilient society.
